What makes a good photograph?
Clear, well-lit, and front-facing, with your pet's face plainly visible. Natural light works best — avoid heavy shadow or backlighting.
Do you do cats? Other pets?
Certainly. Cats, dogs, and other beloved companions are all welcome at court — the studio works from any clear photograph of a single pet.
How long does a commission take?
The portrait itself renders in about 30 seconds. Once you set your seal, printing and shipping typically take 3–5 business days.
Is this a good gift?
It's one of our most common commissions. You approve the exact design yourself before anything prints, so there's never a risk of gifting a portrait they won't love — and a tracking notice arrives the moment it departs the presses, so you'll always know when to expect it.
What if I don't like the portrait?
Render it again — up to three times, at no charge — until it's exactly right. Because this is a custom print, the commission is final once you set your seal, so take your time before approving.
Where do you ship?
Currently the United States and Canada. Shipping is free, and a tracking notice arrives by email the moment your portrait departs the presses.
What sizes are available?
Every commission includes a 12×16 museum-grade matte print. At checkout, you can also add a larger 16×20 print of the same portrait, an 11oz mug, or a Portrait Frame Ornament — all optional, all made from the same approved design.
