Terms of Service

Canvas & Crown Studio is operated by PF DataStack LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “PF DataStack LLC”). These Terms govern your use of this site and any purchase you make through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

What we sell

You upload one photograph of your pet. Our AI generates a custom royal-portrait-style image from it, which you can regenerate up to three additional times (four total) before approving. Once you approve a design, we print it on a museum-grade matte print and ship it to you. Current pricing, shown before you check out, includes free shipping within the United States and Canada.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By uploading a photo, you confirm you own it or otherwise have the right to use it, and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Your photo, and what we do with it

You keep all rights to the photo you upload. You grant us a limited license to use it solely to generate, print, and ship your order — nothing more. We don't use your photo or your finished portrait for marketing or any other purpose without asking you first. The finished portrait we print for you is yours to keep and display; we retain no ownership claim over it.

AI-generated results

Your portrait is generated by an AI model from your uploaded photo. Style, likeness, and any text the model renders onto the portrait (such as your pet's name on an engraved plaque) are AI-generated interpretations — we ask the model to render your pet's name accurately, but like any AI-generated text, it is not guaranteed to come out exactly right every time. This is exactly why you can regenerate a design up to three times before approving: use that to confirm the result — including any rendered text — looks correct before you approve it.

Approval and production

Checking the approval box before checkout sends your exact approved design to production. See our Custom Goods Policy for what that means and what happens if something goes wrong on our end.

Prohibited use

Don't upload photos of people, photos you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, offensive, or infringing. We may refuse or cancel any order for a reason like this, with a full refund if payment was already collected.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. Prices are in US dollars and shown in full before you check out.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and your finished portrait are provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
